Mrs ho har:angel:As far as I'm aware there are 3 types in the S2/S2a/S3/110 They are the single seats for the FFRs the 2 person seats for the 10 seat wagon/88"/109" GS ex-mil (2 pair) and a 3 person for the 12 seat wagons (very squeezy ones).

The ones in the rear of the s1 are essentially the same as the S2 2 person seats except parts are RHS instead of angle and the backrest fixing brackets are different.

The part numbers for the hinged base section remains the same for the 2 person seats from 1954 through the end of SIII (R301489) so as I said the seats are essentially the same. The 12 seat wagon (3 person) seats are "handed" and completely different numbers.

The assembly numbers change mostly because of the different upholstery materials and colours.

The photos will all appear the same, unless you put them back to back!

It is the length of the frame and cushions that change. As well as the back fixing brackets (bolt on) and spacer underneath for the 109" wagons.

Mrs ho har:angel:88" & 86" short series vehicles use the same seats in the back as the GS military 88" and 109" and 10 seat wagons. Just that the wheel boxes in a 109" wagon are shorter (with a curved hump) than the wheel boxes in the 88" and 109" so they need a spacer under the seat to bring it up to the same height as the non-109" wagons.

Only Gun buggies and 88" FFR have different seats in the back.

I am looking for the side benches/seats directly above the wheel wells.

I need to borrow them for one day only in order to get my car registered for 7 seats. Have a look at the original thread and the first post at:

88" Can I borrow your rear seats? (also: military LR, 110/County/SIII/Stage 1 wagon) (http://www.aulro.com/afvb/series-i-land-rover-enthusiasts-section/88981-88-can-i-borrow-your-rear-seats-also-military-lr-110-county-siii-stage-1-wagon.html)

Best to reply on that thread. My contact details are there.

Thanks for looking.
