Hi,

Is the Land Rover Owners' Club of Victoria Inc. worth while for a Series 1?

Kris

Yes!

Have a look here - they have a very active Series 1 group in the club:

The Series One Register Victoria has been one of the most active S1 groups in the country, a lot of it's members are LROCV members. They run a number of events each year which are always a good time, the Gathering is well worth attending as are the "leaf springs and summit" trips.

Even though I live in NSW, and not being a member of any LR clubs for decades I joined the LROCV because of the companionship of the S1 people in the LROCV. Yes I am still a current LROCV member.

(Now look what's happened! :wasntme: )

Hi Diana,

Well since you are a member I figured it must be worth while. I signed up and paid my dues.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

hi Kris,

i'm a member of the LROCV im on my 5th year with the Club and if it wasnt for them i would not have the Landrover Series 1 that is in my Garage today.
They are a great bunch of people and you can do many things with the club ie, Club trips, Vic 4x4 show, 4x4 training, Trials, etc. im into the Series One's obviously....! anyways welcome to the LROCV.

also just to let you & others know that on the 11th of Oct on the Sunday there is going to be a Series Restoration Day organised by one of our Club Members.
i'll be there along with many other Series Vehicle enthusiasts from the Club.
if any are interested PM me and ill give you the details.

cheers,

The LROCV is were I started. It is a great long established club with many of the long term members who used S1's back in the 'old days' and the S1 group has been about there for a long time now.
