Good day,
I just have joined the forum as I have noticed that the Australian LR forum gets much more actively used than any of the forums we have here in W-Europe, be it France or even the U.K.
Just as an introduction I am using as daily transport here around Geneva a new bought, now exactly 1 year old, Defender 110 SVX. Pretty much kept in its original configuration (i.e. fully loaded), but with the addition of an original LR A-frame protection bar, a pair of Hella classic rectangular anti-fogs installed under the bumper, a 2 kilo fire extinguisher in the back, and now yesterday an Australian made Kaymar spare wheel carrier, which is an outright gem, and probably the best finished and most sturdy on the market. As I intend to keep this Defender forever, thought it would be worth to install that spare wheel carrier and avoid long term damage to the rear door hinges, even if our local LR dealer say that this would be something of the past.... In any case the Kaymar is a nice addition. Looking forward to read a lot of interesting stuff on the forum.
Rgds, Eric
