Had to post a quick thread on articulation your your vehicle.
The following pic shows a good example of this.
How far can your vehicle articulate???;):twisted:

We dug those holes in order to test articulation and also see if we could get out. I did get out easily, with CDL though. Holes like that show articulation well i think. That was at Fraser earlier this year, when we got bored.
So if you have nothing to do on the upcoming Fraser trip, this is a good boredom killer.

the flex of myyyy?? Had you wondering & no.
The Gumboot ??? Yes
Hey Shamo, not bad flex there mate. (probably flexed even more when it hit the water at 40kms an hour & sank)>:D:D:D

Got that word from a bloke in the Brissie LR club who called the pov pack Rangie clasic (like the dunga) 'dunga spec' as it has no electric windows, mirrors, etc.. (mine now has all 3).

Yeah Trav,

Could be the advice of many who want a job cut, hacked and done cheap (Dunga Spec):D:D
The Dunga is may not qualify now, as she has a new paint job, new electrics and soon to be new rims & tyres.

Thought I'd post up some shots whilst playing with the front suspension. Still has a lot more in the rear and possibly a bit more in the front if i can convince the radius arm bushes to do so and get some more rocks & dirt to make the humps bigger. FYI all springs are retained top & bottom no dislocation (used to but to bloody noisy;))

I was certain the new springs and shocks were going to be too stiff and too hard on rebound. Yes it is hard on road (but handles superb) offroad I was surprised that it is still comfortable and is not lifting wheels;) You never stop learning with this stuff I can tell you.

Dont have many showing the flex on mine. The 2 below are about it.

ok I got some more. I am sure these have been posted elsewhere???

I would really much love to get a photo at full flex to show how well they work even with springs retained (mine are like Justins, retained upper and lower).

Unfortunately the ormeau creek run never brought the car to full flex, I think the most flex i got that day can be seen in the shot on the rocks.

What I do like is the way the front seems to have started working really well even with not much weight on it.

Rangies rule!!!

p.s. and some white coloured discos arnt to bad either! :)

This is the best I can do from a stock setup. Not much on the front, bit better on the back with the airbags. Work on the suspension coming up end of the month. Notice the twist of the front bumper to the grill
