Hello Folks,

Today has been the first day I have had free to have a good look over Matilda - here are some photos I took just prior to a visit from the top brass (Colonel Coleman)....

Here she is sitting next to my Series 9 :p ....

Tailgate down and I'm onboard - first thing I did was fit the spare wheel brackets and have a beverage sitting in the back...

http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/3392/dsc0012un.jpg (http://img188.imageshack.us/i/dsc0012un.jpg/)

She's a 3 seater - I'll leave her as a ute in the back....

An "arty" rear taillight shot, glorifying the Della Beacon....

Engine bay...

http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/8889/dsc0019c.jpg (http://img257.imageshack.us/i/dsc0019c.jpg/)

Need a new exhaust manifold gasket - need a new exhaust....

http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/9217/dsc0020e.jpg (http://img522.imageshack.us/i/dsc0020e.jpg/)

Now, I was told this is an original radiator, but am willing to be corrected :p

Another pic of the seats....

Side on - she's only 86 inches hub to hub...

Looks very tidy, the 2" hole in the firewall below the pannel for the gauges is a modifaction when you need to get to the camshaft with out having to either remove the engine or firewall. My 88" has the same mod though is hidden behind the chassis/ID plate thats screwed there. Quite handy.

Very nice. Doesn't seem to have a choke (mixture control)? Should be under dash, alongside the hand throttle.

The choke is a black knob under the dash, above the starter button - my manual shows that to be it's original position too. :)

Prudence, old chap - if I mess with the gravel driveway, I'm in trouble.

Actualy, one thing is missing - PM sent! :D

Cheers,

That thought did cross my mind - so I checked that too! :D :p And amazingly both engine and gearbox dip sticks show correct fluid levels. ;)

That's right, it's just not visible in the photo. ;)
