Wow what a Fabulous Machine I am blown away, Nice colour 2 .
Power to tow, room for 7 people, ergonomic, Comfy, I want one.

Tim AKA Gadgets.

Ps
Is $24,0000 a good price with 125,000 on the clock ??

from what I've researched, it's a bit on the high side compared to mainland prices. but then again, finding one in Tassie with low k's and in good nick (with full service history) is difficult. Is this a car yard jobbie?

So seems OK but would be better is the price was 2k lower I reckon

I dont think the 02 has.....I have seen two recently one in my favourite green colour and the other just like above both auto's the one in green was a td5......with full service history.

the sliver was 11 grand but that had leather interior and the green was 10. both around the 140k mark

if it wasn't the fact I'm moving house I would of considered the green just for a commute car.....in saying that I think the centre diff lock would be greatly missed...but I would imagine easily sort with some lockers in it

Its a MY03 from the headlights so it has the CDL along with all the other improvements over the earlier models.

i always thought CDL would be a must for lockers.......

Well it is my understandng that if you have soft lockers it works really well with the traction control as the traction control is enough to engage them???

Have a Look here: BUT HURRY!!! auction closes in 7 hrs!:o
Land Rover Discovery S 4x4 2002 5 door Wagon (7 Seater) with Automatic 4.0 (http://www.graysonline.com/Lot.aspx?id=4086429)

Yes i know it's a v8 but $12000 difference is a lot of fuel, a td5 2002 went a few days ago for about the same (12k I think). Buy it online fly to sydney catch a bus / train out to homebush and a taxi to the yard then just drive it back to tassie, for the price difference you get a free holiday + 10k change. With grays you are also charged a buyers premium which is in this case 5% ( so about 550 on an 11k car).
