Hi there, i saw the actual vehcile in Queensland in Christmas 2005. A land Rover wrecker had.---------No it was fine.
I had done afamily trip with my Tdi defender right up the east coast of Australia from Melbourne -yep 10000klms return and only blew one tyre. Anyway , i was cruising aroung Townsville looking out for maore army landys when i noticed the land rover wrecker and pulled in for a chat and then on the hoist i saw VIOLA -THE CAR itself.

The guys were great and lapped up my enthusiasm and took it outside so i wouldnt drool on the workshop floor:D:D:D

The story goes he picked it up for 18K from a guy in Tassie who purchased soon after it was used. Thats what i was told.
