Land Rover's greatest enemy (and that of nearly ALL manufacturers) is the ridiculously low Emission targets, or rather compulsory standards, set my the enviro-nazis.

cough cough I hate to say this but even Aston Martin is having to sel a 'reinvented" Toyota (yep Toyota) city car in order to reduce the net emissions over its range of vehicles.

If you're interested (and you shouldn't be) the new Aston is (currently at least) going by the name "Cygnet" though I think its more of an ugly duckling. For a performance car maker to be selling a car that couldn't pull a sailor off your sister is the ultimate ignominy.

Greenies. Send em all out to sea to live with the whales, I reckon.
