Gday all
I've searched but without much success. Trying to get my hands on some crossbars to fit the standard roof racks on my 2004 D2. I've contacted LR and apparently they don't supply them anymore. They retail for 400 bucks on the rhino website which sounds a little step given they're only a couple of metal bars....

I'm located in Perth if that helps. Placed an ad in the wanted section but thought this may be quicker.

Thanks in advance
Dave

Hi I had no luck finding crossbars either that were not going to cost a fortune so I bought a roof basket from super cheap, $150.00 and with a few mods to the supplied brackets fitted that to the existing bars.
It works fine as all I want to put on it is our Southern Cross tent and mabe some bedding.
I can send a pic og the mods to the brackets if you want.

Utilux hose clamps would work well for attaching the basket - three on each side should be more than sufficient.

Stick with the Rhino ones. Very versatile, strong, and aerodynamic. I have fishing rod holders that bolt straight on to my Rhinos.....very very handy.

I can't see where you've been barred.

You know the rules, no selling/buying other than in the Markets.

Thanks for the replies fellas.
I tried to get a prorack set from supercheap but they had none in stock, meaning a delay of 2 weeks (they're made in NZ). Ended up getting rino's through repco for $280.
Still very expensive for what they are - essentially two 1.5m bars - but look pretty slick and the two surf skis havent fallen off yet (touch wood!!!)

Cheers
