Hi,
Just had a quote from 4wd place on getting some work done on our disco.

Just curious as to which filters are the best as 4wd quoted $172 for filters.

And I can full Filter kit off FEEBAY including Auto Service kit for $99.

Brands are Coopers OIl,Fuel,Air, and proven aftermarket Rotor Filter.

Also they only have 2 Oil filters dont they?

And has anyone bought the Injector Harness from Overseas and are they anygood?

Same thing from 4wd $124 from overseas about $70 with postage.

cheers

Well it's difficult to say when you're not telling us what you are comparing Coopers to?

If it's a Td5, most say stick to OEM centrifugal filter.

OEM. Cheap and work best.

FWIW - I only ever use Genuine Parts for filters and brake pads.

Have a good look in the "Good Oil" section.....lots of great info, graphs etc in regard to filters.

Unfortunately I found this two weeks after I purchased and fitted a UniFilter:(
Bear in mind that buying cheap gets cheap results in a lot of cases (not all though) and let's face it, the engine is the heart of the issue. Using the search is very helpful also:)
