Hey All

I have had the dreaded jammed door lock issue with my Rangie. I have taken the whole door apart and think it is is the small spring in the lock mechanism that has lost its tension and not allowing the lock to move when unlocking the door.

I have had a look on ebay and found springs, but they dont appear to be the right ones and they are mainly for discos. The spring in my door lock is circular with a longer extended section on it. The ones on ebay are circular with two small straight sections...

I really need to get the door back together for a trip this weekend. Anyone know where I can get a replacement spring quick?! Im in Melbourne

There are 4 or 5 RR doors in the dumpster out the front of my factory at the moment. You're welcome to rummage through and get what you need if you like.....they're under a bit of other junk but not impossible to get to......it's your call.

PM me for address if you want.:)

Or give Fred a bell.....9720 4999

Call Peninsula Rangie in Seaford. I have just bought the Disco version from them and it would be worth a call as they seem to have lots of this 'crappy' stuff on hand.

Sorted! Ended up finding a good (really good actually) whole door lock from later model rangie for $55. Thought this would be easier as I could not find a supplier for a new spring and the old lock mechanism has A-LOT of play in it.
