Hi guys hoping someone can help me, im fitting a philips carin navigation system and need to locate the wires on my 1998 seris 1 discovery v8i.I require the wire to signal when reverse is engaged back up wire and the speedometer signal or pulse gegerator wire any help would be apreciated,im locating the unit under passenger seat as the stacker is under the drivers seat many thanks mark,located in mountain creek qld .

If all else fails on the reverse wire you can always wire in to the reverse light at the back.

Is the Disco auto or manual?

As to the others if you have the RAVE CD then check the electrical diagrams.

Hi, sorry to mention that its a auto,ive only just got the discovery so i do not have any wiring diagrams or manuals yet,i see some on ebay that you get free with the parts you buy so have to buy a service kit,i did a fit to a audi ages ago and used the signal wire from the cruise ecu but not sure of the location on my disco?,cheers mark
