You really do take some great photos.....good resolution and fine detail showing in some of them.

1. Set camera to widest focal length.
2. Run at seagulls sitting at waters edge.
3. Start shooting.

I now have a vague idea of how the paparazzi feel. :-)

Heh. Looks like I didn't have it at it's widest after all. It's a 16-35mm zoom but the exif says it's at 26mm. Shutter speed was 1/800 which was a compromise to keep some of the depth of field with an aperture of f8-ish.

That's correct. They've done a lot of work sprucing it up a bit. The little jetty across the road from the general store has been rebuild and there's a boardwalk to it from each direction. They've also sealed the nearby carpark as well as the one down by the beach. The shops have changed a bit too. :)
