G'day everyone!
GME at the moment are offering a TX3220 UHF radio with a bonus GME AE4012k2 4.5dB antenna. Does anybody know if this antenna is any good for general use around town and in hilly terrain? (I've attached a photo of the antenna). Does anybody have any opinions on the radio itself?
Thank you in advance!
Edward :)

From the pic it's an elevated feed ground independent design which is what is recommended. Means you can mount it on a bullbar or anywhere really.
Should be OK.

Yer mate they are fairly decent , they are very similar to the AE4018k1 , difference being , one had a fibreglass wipp and the other stainless , both 4.5dp gain , A good alround antena for vehicles, these bonus packs are good value , only thing is that the tx3220 is a very entry level UHF . and have seen a few that tend to drop of frequency quite a bit and require retweaking on a Marconi ect, Hope this helps :)
