The 1999+ clear lens lights look good, and I thought the smoked ones would look even better on a dark coloured car like mine.

Now they're on, I'm not so sure... opinions?

I think the clear ones look better and I suspect the tinted ones might not be legal.

For some reason the smoked doesn't do it with the darker coloured Rangie. I think the clear would look much cleaner in effect.

They dark ones certainly don't do the car any favours. Clear is much better. But now that you have ruined the car rendering it useles to you there's nothing for it but to give it to me. :p

I think a combination of both could look great? I like the front and repeaters smoked and maybe the clears in the rear end?

Paul don't woory about the colour of the blinkers - it is the fluffy dice that are a worry :p

what?! they are "fully sick mate"... I was a teenager in the early 80's... that explains a lot about my taste in air fresheners :D

Although it might offend, I think they look awful (let alone the effect on light visibility).

ha! you'll have to try harder than that to offend me Ron... is it that green sticker in the rear window or the Transformer above the number plate maybe? ;)

I work in Canberra... people trying to offend me should be part of my job description :D

Only the outer ones are reflectors. The three inner sets are LED lights to supplement the originals that are obstructed by the wheel carrier on the RHS. They work better than the originals too.

But why stop there? we could end up with something like this... ;)

..... Graft in these tail lights ....

.... It will give you an idea of how the Clears will look .... Also it gives the rear end a wider look, as the extra light in the tailgate area is removed ....

I see your reasoning Mike, but here's mine:
If I wanted the "hungry hippo" look I'd buy an L322... if I wanted "sex on wheels" I'd buy a RRS... if i wanted looks, power, handling and no off-road ability I'd buy a Jag X-Type... since I want "sexy and practicality" I'll settle for doing stuff to my P38A that feels good :D:D

Maybe I'll put the clears back on at the rear sides and leave the darks in the rear centre... similar effect without having to rewire the reverse and rear fog lights ;)

Cheers, Paul.

Hmmm smoked tail lights not the best idea as you cant see them very well during the day, just be prepaired to recive a whack from behind in traffic.
Might look "cool" but not a safe option (just my 10c worth)

Oh the Humanity !

What's worst is that if you look at the RHS you can see the panels have been shaped aroud the round lights, rather than just the round lights set into the panels.

eeeeuuugghhhh !
