Well what can i say but an AWESOME GCLRO Xmas party!!!!!! :twobeers:

Had around 70 people in attendance down at Canungra... the jumping castle for the kids was a very very worthwhile investment and all the food and drink on hand kept the masses well fueled for the days festivities. This is what the GCLRO is all about :arms: Oh and then about 35 stayed overnight to enjoy the campfire banter that we all enjoy :)

A big thank-you to everyone who attended and even to the few ring-ins who saw us gathered so stopped in to see what was going on :) To everyone who pitched in to make the day so enjoyable, your help was very much appreciated by all in the club. To Camo for sourcing the meat and bread, Mrs x-box for a brilliant coleslaw, Ms Psimpson7 for keeping our thirst quenched, Mrs ZuluDelta & Mrs TimJ (also for serving) for making the great salads (fairly sure a couple others helped but sorry didn't see who it was but thank-you also), Stevo68 for once again showing us his BBQing prowess and Col.Coleman for once again supplying his army field kitchen for its use and helping with the cooking. Also to those who pitched in getting gazebos setup, the field kitchen setup and packed down.. Thank-you to all!!! :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: It really is the members that make the club and i wouldn't want to be in another... it is an honor and a privilege to be part of this family. PS: Thanks BigDog for your extra special concoctions

To the committee members who have stepped down this year i would like to thank-you for your tireless work and commitment to the club. Stevo68 & Bolts have both been serving you all for about 4 years now, sponsoring, leading trips, running dares and doing everything to help build this fine club of ours and have both assured me that they will still continue to do what they can in the future... Should really make Chief BBQer an official role ;) Also thanks to Camo for everything you've done over the last year, always going above and beyond the call of duty

And to finish off.. welcome to the incoming committee, Scallops who will be handling the Merchandise, Busman who will be taking over as Secretary and Disco2 who will be looking after everyone as Member Liaison. The outgoing committee have left very big shoes to fill but we have no doubts you are all up to the task at hand... welcome to the inner sanctum

Positive i've probably forgotten something and if i have apologies but going to bed now :)

Oh and sure a few took pics so will be forthcoming ;)
