Scorpion winch bar?

Does anyone know where abouts, (in the brisbane, SE QLD area ) I could get a scorpion style Front tube bar for my county..(not fussed on the brand, as long as it is winch compatiable)
The searches I have done I have really only found rovacraft in WA but nothing around brissie..

Any help would be great..

I don't know about anyone in Brisbane, but I just got a terrafirma4x4 winch bar for my Defender from British Off Road (http://www.britishoffroad.com/) on the Sunshine Coast...it looked like they'd got a few in too when I got mine.

There are pictures of mine fitted in the thread on Safara my Defender (http://www.aulro.com/afvb/members-rides/60090-my-first-defender-1992-200tdi.html).

They now have that style bar in... I have a 'genuine' but I prefer the new one as its designed for the lowmount. My scorpion is designed for Highmount.

I brought mine through Melbourne - Stu is extremely helpful, if he can sort it he will..

Cheers guys... Getting it from another state is easy enough, but i just wanted to see one in the flesh before I bought one, thats all...

What sort of price were rovacraft doin them for, (if you don't mind me askin):)

$700? very much doubt thats for a winch bar!!! i've had mine for a couple of years and was way more then that!! 'comp style winch bar' just recessed more then the a/c one or standard front tubular winch bar. plus you have to include postage to brissie, i bough tmine from rovercraft WA too. can't remember exactly but thought it was more like $1200+

I gave british offroad a call today and they didn't have any scorpion ones in stock, but they had the terrafirma winch tube bars with the recovery hooks in stock.. selling them for $990... not bad i thought.,

i can see a xmas present comming my way:D

Got one priced yesterday 880 plus Freight. rovacraft DA 5609 have a look on the web site. another one was MS-19098 don't know if that helps Cheers Lance

Hi

I chased one of the Equipe/Skorpion bars around for ages and then stumbles across 'First Four' who make a very similar bar - think its called Shadow
I got mine delivered to darwin through Landrover Tuning who are now importing them, believe they are based in NSW?
Anyhow another option worth looking at, if I can ever figure out how to post a photo of my 110 I will show you the bar with winch fitted
