235/85x16 on RRC

Hi All

I'm lucky enough to have a 1990 RRC, a 110 County and an old stage 1 ute. I'm wondering what I would have to do to the rangie to fit 235/85x16 tyres on. This would give me flexibility to get some MT's that would fit all the cars when required.

235/85x16 = radial equivalent of 7.50x16, right?

if so, i dont see why you shouldnt be able to fit them to a RRC

I have that size on my Classic, they have never rubbed at the front, but at the back it pays to cut and knock tthe inner guard out of the way as they got cut up on my first trip out...
