Any one that has had a past life in the Sutherland Shire might find this site interesting

You are able to look back through old aerial photography back to the 30s (for some areas)

I spent a few hours on there last night looking at the places I lived, my old schools and the homes of my friends. A trip down amnesia lane.

thanks for that Bushie, it goes back to when I was a kid when an expedition to Cronulla was a big event - before the railway line!
.... and the railway extension to National Park (Audley) was in use !

:o Gee, you must be old :D. I know it was there in the '50's, albeit a single line. Just googled this and the line actually opened in December 1939.
To be pedantic, the National Park Line didn't go to Audley.;)
