Took my 3 month old D3 for a proper play on a training day on Sunday. 8 D3's 1 Air S, 1 V6SE, 5 TDV6SE 1 TDV6 HSE.
They are truly awesome, and it is amazing how much difference the various terrain response modes make.
The difference in capability between my D1 TD300 and this vehicle is incredible, just choose the right mode, turn DSC off, point it at whatever, keep the revs steady and it just goes up it.
The really telling thing for me about the terrain response is on a really knarly rutted potholed hill I chose the wrong terrain response and got stopped halfway up. changed to the correct settings, restarted and it just got going a cruised up. shows how much difference there is between the settings, but also there is no way in my old D1 I could have gotten going again without reversing back down or even being recovered, this thing just picked up where it left off and ploughed on up
