In the efforts to restore my boat ... I have been reminded once again about the complete hopelessness of the Perth boating supply scene ...
I'm trying to get a D mould similar to the centred picture for the "Dingy Buffer" application .... How hard do you think that could be???
http://www.fitchtherubberman.com.au/Images/Boat%20Gunwale%20new.jpg
The only choice on offer, is the G40 mould ... Great product ... except I DONT have the lip on the boat to fit it .... If I can't find a D Mould ... Then I will have to bolt a Ali T mould to the boat to fit the G40
Anyone know a contact over East, that has a ACTUAL range of different mouldings for me to make a choice from ??? ... As I would like a 38 to 40mm wide ... Black coloured mould with a insert .... cause over here, it's like a secret society, It would be easier to get info on the Freemasons, compared to this lot .....

Been there .... :no2:
It's white and it measures 30mm .... + my colour scheme is to be White with Maroon & black trim
I've exhausted the local scene ... The Supplier in Malaga is no good ... The interweb turns up nutting
Only the retailer in Claremont, is the best bet if all else fails (G40)

purple pig - they have a pdf catalogue with pricing you can download - page 12/13 should have what you are after :)
they also have replacement bailey channel for series/defender sliding windows and the right profiles for DIY replacement door seals!

They were useless too ....Rang them up .... Nothing available .... ;)
................
"Bias" seem to have the best product range "allround" for boating ... Heck, they even display & sell a Speedo ........ and are the only ones to stock Black G40
They have EVERYTHING transport/chandlery related.
Correction Andy .... EVERYTHING transport/chandlery related. .... EXCEPT what I want to buy
Sheesh , Folks ....... the boating fraternity are such a unimaginative mob ..... They have only 3 colour schemes white, black or Nautical blue /// Hang on ... 1 colour scheme ... cause black and white arn't even colours ....
Thanks for your tips folks .... I'll get the G40 .... I've moved on to windscreens ......

There is a forum called Fishnet | Home (http://www.fishnet.com.au), put a post on there asking in the boating section and there are a few boat restorers who are members. They have all replaced gunwale rubbers and should point you to a supplier.
