how to clean galvanised

I'm sure I've read how to clean galvanised parts here before but can't find the thread.

I need to clean the gal windscreen frame on my 80", dose anyone have any suggestions.

Scotch brite pad with rust converter - works a treat. ;) Then wipe down with a damp cloth, then a cloth with Metho on, then a dry cloth.
