Just had a bit of a thunderstorm, but only about 7mm rain fell in the last 10 minutes here....but it's better than nothing.

Lots of thunder & lightning - a couple of close hits too. Turned off the computer & phone as a precaution, but all is A-OK now, and we're back into the shed for the final countdown:D:D

Hoping to get an early night tonight...and an early start tomorrow.

Temperature has dropped about 10 degrees and is now 29oC. Nice relief from the hot and humid morning.

We had a bit of wind at Emu Plains and that was it. All gone, no rain.

Thanks Steve & Roma,

Hopefully will take a few pics along the way and when we get up there.

Really looking forward to delivering the 130 safe & sound to Gapuwiyak, it will be a much more practical vehicle for Sharon & Alfred.

Reckon it will be a hot drive up there this time of year.... hope the air-con keeps up with it (do you have a call-out number;););))

Will stay in touch and give you a call around Christmas time.

My wife says it's too early - the sun's not over the yard arm.

Try 42c, at 1430hrs at Hexam. As I sat there in traffic, with the temp gauge on just below half way (with the heater on full). Remembering Dinty's quoted "my gauge always sits on 1/4" I looked at the Isuzu dealer sign and thought bugger it, time for a cooling system flush and mini birthday.
