D4 Cargo Barrier

LR dealer states that they do not have ADR approval for the LR product noted in the UK accessories brochure

Does Milford do one-albeit for a D3 with rear seats and side curtain air bags?
Is there a problem with side curtain air bags in a D4 SE?

Ok, after loitering on this for the last couple of weeks and finding answers to many of my own NOOB LR questions (great forum - thanks everyone), ... my first post :)

I have just ordered a D4 HSE last weekend (Feb build - wont get to me until at least April :(). I looked at cargo barriers in the process of deciding between the D4 and other makes (that shall remain nameless) and nobody could give me a definitive answer. I eventually got a retailer to ring Milford directly and the message I got from Milford is that the D3 barrier *may* fit, but their engineers haven't had a chance to see a D4 in the flesh yet and so can't guarantee it will.

They assured me that they would be looking at it soon, but couldn't give me dates. Since I'm not getting mine until April, I left my inquiries there.

I can't comment on their compatibility with 3rd row airbags, as I confess I didn't consider this when talking to them.

LR Australia make a Cargo Barrier for the Discovery 3. Will it fit into the Discovery 4, i am not exactly sure but cant see why not.
The part number will not come from the brochure as it is locally sourced.
From memory it is either RAA556 or 557 (RAA = Rover Australia Accessory)
This has been available for a few years now. It is compatible with the 3rd seats & i see no diiference between the D3 & D4 in its mounting points, but would ask the spare parts dept to enquire with LRA before fitting/purchasing.
At least if you buy a Genuine item it is covered by warranty. If you buy Brand new with the vehicle it is covered for the life of the vehicle warranty, if you purchase afterwards it is only covered for 12mnths.
