That would be full of posts about how wonderful they're vehicles are and how many mod's they have and how big a lift kit they've fitted and how they never break down and ...
Here we deal with the real world issues and recognise that all vehicles have problems ;)

dare ya to pop in and post up a thread as a concerned landrover owner.
with the new plastic bumpers on the front of the toyotas, how do you remove the access panel from the front of a bogged toyota to hook up the towstrap from the landrover when the toyotas so far down you cant reach underneath it to pop it out?

Sorry mate, you are mistaken.
I saw the ad and they can actually drive up from out of the ground, negating the need for straps.

I have to agree, I clicked on the "how to 4wd" link and it comes back with "Page not found" ;)
Obviously the crusiers are soo good you have no need to learn anything.

very true...you know if you get them at a weak moment, they will even admit that, eg., yota owner told me about his low klms 100 series steering box problem costing over 2k to fix. He also cancelled his replacement 200 series V8 order 'cause the service manager (a friend) let him know about "certain" service issues, which I recall included chassis cracking (??) - he was buying the LC V8 to tow a triple horse float as the TD 100 series was too gutless (his words). But that did not stop him rubbishing my Disco when he later saw the bonnet up...shouting out aloud "you should have bought a cruiser mate"
PS I was fitting a boost gauge at the time!! Just can't win:mad:

Ah its good to see,
Its like the FORD vs HOLDEN,or the
CAT vs CUMMINS debate there will always be the bias the un-bias and the I dont give a stuff as long as it works owners,
But I do know 1 thing,
I always get landy owners come over and have a chat when they see us with the Disco, :) but never had a tojo owner come over and say jack when I had the Hi-lux work ute.
But this is the best forum by a country mile,
Cheers Ean

A few weeks ago at the shopping centre car park, I spotted a bloke sitting in a landcruiser 80. So as usual, I stuck my head in the window and said,
betcha sorry now that ya didn't buy a Landrover, eh.
He grinned and said, Har, I already got one.
Turns out he has a series Landy on his farm that is his daily.
We had a good chat about Landies and walked over together to have a look at a new Puma, parked nearby. Very nice, we agreed.
Said Puma lives near me but I havent met the bloke yet.
I probably wont bother because he doesn't wave.
Cheers.
