Noticed in the spiel that it states with Defender (after Td5, that the bonnet mounted spare wheel was outlawed.

That would most likely explain why a bonnet mount was not available for this model, disregarding the strength of the bonnet et al.

From Td5 on.........no mount, as it was outlawed. Is that better. If you read the spiel, it is explained.

Few gaps there. But to be expected as its all about a Land Rover.

With the Puma hump on the bonnet you'd just fit an emergency spare so it wouldn't be too tall. Maybe a bicycle heel with a Defender hub;)

May there's a good reason for it to be outlawed.
