Trying to mount my "engine Saver Gauge" and finding it difficult to mount on the steering column as the wiring out the back does not allow it to sit flush on the column while not interfering with the steering wheel.
Where have others mounted the gauge?

Could you please explain a little more about what the engine savers function is and I thought, on the humerous side, you could always mount it o. The outside near the window washer jets like our rice burner friends :)

Hi Aaron,

I was having a similar issue with were to mount mine.

I have just mounted my UHF radio on the overhead console where the sunroof controls would normally be,(I don't have sunroofs obviously) and am thinking of putting the cabin unit beside the UHF. Will probably have to extend the wiring on the unit though.

Anyway it is an idea at the moment.

All the best.

Tony

I was not sure if lengthening the wire would affect the unit? If not then it would be good up there I also have my UHF in the overhead console.
The Engine saver is a temp and water warning gauge they advertise on this site in the banner above.:)
