G'day all.

I've just become the proud owner of a 1976 Series III SWB Land Rover. I purchased it in WA (well my father did on my behalf) and I'm having it trucked over here to Sydney next week.

Having a look at the NSW RTA web site one of the things that's required is:

A blue slip from an Authorised Unregistered Vehicle Inspection Station (AUVIS).

I live up near Hornsby - could anyone recommend a suitably close 'AUVIS', preferably one that is knowledgeable about older Land Rovers and can give the vehicle a good 'once over' for me as well.

Cheers,
Simon

It's not the green one I posted in the Markets section is it?

It is indeed. I've only seen the photos so far but my father is impressed with it and I'm looking forward to getting it over here.

For a blue slip on a s111 I would take it to land veh spares at silverdale its a drive but they know landies well and know that a 78 s111 is not a 2009 commadore and will inspect it as such they dont expect it to stop on a 10cent pc ring and talk to george or brian 4774 1741:D
