Hey Guys

Various UK web sites advertise up grade chips for Ford Duratech engines from about $200-$250 AUD, (Plug and Play style). Quoting from 120KW/410NM and above.

I also note that the ECU on my Puma SVX has a FoMoCo (Ford Motor Company) sticker/bar code on it.

What is the considered opinion about avoiding the inflated price for LR parts and fitting one of these "Ford" chips to the Puma ?

I am thinking why pay $1500+ when the same thing is available for $200ish ?

Can there really be any difference other than the price ?

Food for thought !
