Could someone please tell me what ACE stands for.

In case you don't know what it is or does, it uses hydraulics to control 2-piece stabiliser bars for improved stability when cornering.

Since I'm not used to these new fan dangle things, am I correct thinking they also relax the sway bars when off road?

I recall reading Slunnie's disco II with ACE, ramped better than Redback's vehicle which was very similar except no ACE.

Thanks fella's, I had seen this ACE mentioned numerous times but couldn't find what it meant, not something I need to worry about with the crew cab I shouldn't think.

ACE is programmed to do more than keep the vehicle upright on corners, which it does very well. It is very effective in stopping swaying, as shown in the TV ads when the vehicle was released. It also smooths-out bumps at lower speeds (rough road operation only at less than 40kph) by partially or totally relaxing the bars, and is quite good at counteracting rocking when crossing ruts diagonally. Unfortunately, ex factory (not mine) it only totally relaxes/unlocks the bars at less than 3kph whereas there are some circumstances/tracks where unlocked bars (equating to no bars) provides a much smoother ride.
