It'sNotWorthComplaining!

I have been working on my Disco replacing the gearbox, clutch , re gasketed the transfer case and fixed a few annoying engine oil leaks.
I thought I would never finish :o I have to go back into Hospital on Tuesday again so time was running out. It's taken 4 weeks as I could only do a couple of hours a day as my disability wouldn't allow more time. Some days I was just to sore do do any thing. Apart from some problems I reported . The medication played havic, I kept bumping my head on things and banging into stuff, bruises every where. LOL
This afternoon at 4.00pm was launch time:clap2: Ist I had to deflate the tyres to get it out of my Tilta Door garage, ( The door is just a tad low for the disco to get out, , I did get it in ok though????)
I started her up and all was good, with the wife directing me out I put it in reverse and gave it some gas.
:bangin: Nothing happened!. Oh No :no2: Funny I thought, if the clutch pedal is released then it should be engaged, but nothing, none of the gears worked.
Ist thought was I HAVE TO PULL THE WHOLE GEAR BOX AGAIN:mad:.
Then I noticed the Transfer lever wasn't engaged.
A big sigh of relief :lol2: put it in gear and out she drove.
Took it for a spin this evening, but started to smell something burning.
I hope it's not the new clutch burning. I did replace the clutch and pressure plate and had the fly wheel machined. I hope it's just some grease or oil from my hands or the RP& I sprayed to loosen the exhaust bolts. I did however degreased everything after and hose it off:confused:
I know one thing I reckon I'm getting too old for this sort of stuff;)
Thanks to all for the forum help with my problems
cheers.
