smokin TD5!

what would make a TD5 smoke like a 300tdi?? ive just returned from a trip from SYD to ACT and noticed that up hills im smoking like a worn out toyota:eek:

the trip was 573klm i sat on 110-115kph and returned with a full length roof rack on and still have 1/4 of a tank left. so that should be 11L/100ish

from the sight of the smoke ide have expected alot worse?
any ideas?

What boost you getting? Low boost?

Fuel Reg pressure drop. how do you check this?

Air leak in plumbing from Turbo all new hoses and clamps checked everything else..ie egr gasket, checked manifold bolts.

Leaking turbo seal how would one check this? or do i just save up for a VVT kit:twisted:
