For the 1st day in over 12 months I have nothing to complain about!!!!!!

Yesterday I went into the operating theatre again after suffering from a collapsed disc and subsequent discectomy and fusion operation from earlier this year.
I had facet joint blocks put in. After the initial , "lets say very very uncomfortable procedure" even though they anethetised me, (I was awake during the procedure) .
Last night I had a good nights sleep and today apart from the injection site pains, there is no pain coming from the spine.
Finally a positive for me and I feel GREAT, Even better than the 48 hour Detox!:D:D:D
I just wanted to tell the world while it lasts.... as this is just a trial to see if a nerve devation procedure would benefit me, once the effect wears off in a few days I'll have to have it done for a second time to see if it is not a fluke.
No gain without pain.
But after over 12months of pain, any relief is something to crow about:clap2::twobeers:

Man i hope it works out for you.
My brother has ankylosing spondylitis and i carry the gene and have some symptoms, but trying to get the doctors to listen to your issues so as to action something is like hoping christmas may come a week early.
Although there is no cure the recognition of the thing would at least allow you to prepare for later life.
I have suffered back pain for years and the consequence of which usually is lack of sleep, you sure can see why sleep deprivation is a torture lol.
this time of year i get the back pain and the lack of Zzzd's also issues with my foot or feet giving me jip which feels like inflamation.
So glad you got your issue looked into and i really hope that the quacks have come good for you fingers crossed mate Andy
