YOU BLOODY LITTLE BEAUTY !!!!!!!! :woot::woot::woot:
I went for a job interview this morning ....... And got a job  . It's only on call for now but told if i show reliability and a bit of brain power I could end up with a full time job . At $25 an hour without meal and shift allowances I think i can show them sort of things :D;) . My Christmas prezzie has come early !
What a sweet feeling it is to know i'll be taking part in supporting the family again after being a stay at home dad for so long . I did have the panel shop as a part time job but the hours dried up and left me with no work ( damn recession ) .
Anyways ! WOOOOHOOOO !!!!!!!!

Is that a good wage? I think I've been out of the game a long time, We've been thinkin' of moving to a warmer state but it means I'd have to get an actually working type of job.

My boy is earning Fonterra money too.
He has an after school/sat morning working for my mate who is the Milk Magnate(ie distributor) for a number of country towns around here.
I hope it works out for you, even if it doesnt, its a stepping stone to something better. Its MUCH easier to get a job when you have a job.
ENJOY

your on a grader arnt you andy??? if you were down here you be on atleast $40 an hour plus allowances
LandyAndy
6th December 2009, 09:36 PM
YEP steer a grader.
Pay aint as high as that,do get good allowances/benefits and I get a BIG say in the running of the crew and our jobs.
PLUS its a cheap place to live,my mortgage is less than $50 a week. And we are JUST far enough from the city/mandurah bunbury and only 250ks from Albany.
I got an invite for a start at the Boddington Bauxite mine expansion the other day from a mate who works there. They are looking for locals,$78000 a year, work 14 days a month,12hr shifts.Drive in drive out(35min trip carpooling). It will be a tough desicion, will be looking at the application package when they are released.
