Posting for a friend who has a SLS problem on his 2002 D2.

The right hand airbag is deflating slowly (1 to 3hrs) when the vehicle is parked normally, the left hand bag remains inflated. If the SLS is raised manually to full height upon parking both sides remain at that height until driven again.

The air bag appears to have no leaks and no fault codes are logged for the sensors.

Suspect that it is a faulty valve or possibly a faulty sensor that is not being detected by the SLABS ECU.

Any ideas before we try swaping the sensor over with the other side to possibly eliminate it as the cause ?

I'm thinking it is the RHS valve - next plan is to swap over the airlines from the valves.

Thanks

its the bag.....no question.
Think about changing the pair.
Check the Good Oil for all the info you need.

Thanks, he eventually found a porous area about the size of a 20 cent piece on the right bag using some aircraft leak test equipment.

I have recently had same problem.Sourced a replacement pair from Airbag Man in Brisbane. Different brand than the OEM.You only have to remove the original brass nipple from the airbag end of the supply line. The replacement airbags have a push in type fitting.
Much less $$ than OEM same or better quality.
And No i have no affiliation with said supplier
