I'm looking for a good all round tyre for our new ride. Now has 245/65/17. The 17" limits my choice. I'm not sure if they will allow me to go oversize yet with warranty.

It may not be what your after but i recently got a set of Maxxis Bighorns 265-70-17s(32's) for 280 each which i thought was very reasonably priced for a 17in tyre... what is it going on? When it comes to the jap 4bys 265-65-17 and 265-70-17 are pretty common sizes and seem to be cheaper/easier to find then some of the other sizes ive looked at.

Apparently I cant go any more than 15mm over size:mad: Makes it bloody hard now:mad::mad: Another engineers certification by the looks of it:( I have a good reason so they should co-operate.

Well bugger it:angel: I've organised some Coopers zeon LTZ 265/70/17:eek: I can get a trade for my stock tyres so happy now:) Have spoken to the insurance company and they seem fine as now listed:confused: So long as not 2" wider in the track and the load / speed rating is right they seem happy.
I'm not a lover of coopers tyres so these ones had better hold up;) Will be mostly to and from Sydney and a bit of farm work so should be fine. If a task gets to hard for them I'll get the 120" or the old Rangie out:twisted: As are well tyred as to speak.
