Must be the weather, but just dicovered a touch of chassis rust on my 130:mad::mad::mad::mad:, bottom plate, 100mm to the rear of the gearbox cross member and streching to the "drain" hole perhaps a bit beyond no more than 400mm overall, this is on the passager side. The driver side gets lots of rust inhibitor from the gearbox etc.
Now, the questions are, what thickness material do i need to patch this and just checking that the chassis is infact mild steel. The meathod I thought of was to cut out the damaged bit on the the existing weld and just reweld in a piece of plate is this OK?
