View Full Version : Temp guage - do I really need it?

I've just had a Voltage meter fitted with the dual-battery system, but they fitted it right in front of the right dash vent!

I have TM2 temp guague/coolant alarm fitted, and I've noticed the temp guage never moves, regardless of the temp. So I was thinking about removing the temp guage and replacing it with the voltage meter.

Any reason this is a bad idea?

Hi Ryan,
i forgot to tell you, that despite everyone saying that they seem not to work , the temp gauge in my 90 used to move all the time and did warn me b4 i almost cooked the engine a number of times. why don't u go with the EMS2 and put that in the temp gauge spot . then you'll know everything else as well.

I would, but I can't justify having both a TM2 and EMS2! Wanna buy the TM2? ;)
