I have an 03 disco upgrade with the 11 speaker system running from the factory 6 stacker. I would like to connect my MP3 player & I'm wondering if anyone has any info? There is no aux button so is it possible?

The factory high line system will take an AUX input OR a CD changer at the same connection.

You don't mention which MP3 player you have, if its an IPOD, then grom audio do an interface that will retain the steering controls, charge the IPOD and also control it from the headunit.

GROM USB and iPod integration homepage (http://www.gromaudio.com)

PS it will NOT list the Discovery on there website and it refers to the Rover 75 and BMW stuff, NOTE the Disco 2 uses ALL BMW wiring etc and the interface will work.

Thanks for the info. I'm not sure what the model is but it is the same used in the HSE that operates the 11speaker harmon kardon if that helps? The MP3 player is a Sony Walkman with bluetooth, bout 6 months old.

Has anyone actually purchased this from audio and to see if it works? Would be interested if I could plug the iPod straight in instead of the cd changer.

Looks like they do one for land rover now:
Rover LandRover 99-05 USB Bluetooth iPod car interface adapter (http://www.gromaudio.com/store/usb_adapters/rover_landrover_99-05_usb_bluetooth_ipod_adapter_direct_digital_inter face.html)
