mystery item - defender door!

hi guys

I was investigating as to why the door on the new defender wouldnt shut the other day and noticed the door card was rubbing against the ecu/seat box. i took the door trim off to see if it was being held out by anything (was barely held on by anything!) only to find that stuck to the plastic was a thin plastic hollow moulding with a pipe attached to it! bit like a funnel but thin!

i have looked in microcat and rave to see if i can see it and none of them list it. im assuming its some kind of drain but i dont have a clue where it may of come from!

any ideas?? i think its actually the door seal / latch thats the issue.. but found this along the way!

sounds like the water trap from under the door handle recess that supposed to catch water that washes in through the door handle and mechanism to stop it from getting down the window regulator mech.

thats very probably it... so it shouldnt be stuck to the plastic door lining down at the bottom of the door then :D

im assumings its fell off and stayed there!
