capstan winch questions

hey.

i have the chance to purchase a capstan winch for my series 2a.

the winch itself is in very good condition, turns freely and has no slop in the drive.

it comes with a mounting plate and the lever to engage it but that is about it. it is missing the drive shaft, drive dog and various other brackets.

i would like to know what sort of price would be fair to pay for the item.

also, is there any place i can purchase the other bits from?

depends on what vintage it is. Also there seems to be alot like this, ie no drive line. you know you lso need the correct fromt pulley on the crankshaft.

i picked one up complete about 8 years ago for $150 from a wrecker.

i have no idea where to buy parts, but the UK would be the best start
