Grimace and I headed out for a quick run to Ormeau again early this morning to give the new drive line a run and try the new tyres in the dry as it was drenched last time.
Went realy well with everything we attempted being driven and no breakages, apart from Griamces rear bumper.
Heres a few pics: (p.s. Let me know when you get bored of Ormeau pics and I will stop posting them :) )

Quite an interesting rock section. There were a couple of fairly deep sections of water too. nearly 3ft deep in places.

Hi Kelvin,
If you go in the lower entrance, drop down the bank, to the creek, and turn right into the water. Follow this all the way along until where you would turn left to head to the teacup. Now instead of turning left, head round to the right in the water for about a hundred metres. The photo of us is coming back the other way over the 2 large boulders there.

Hi Pete, as soon as I saw these pics and the others that you'd posted up before Iv'e been thinking that I need to get up there for a run. Just looks awesome and l love that gully stuff. There is no chance that I'll get up this Xmas as I've just finished building a house and so wil be living on bread and water until a few things are finished off. I'm a huge fan of Fraser Island and used to head up there every 2nd year but haven't been up for a while. Next trip north I'll have to catch up with you hoons so you can show me the perils of Ormeau!!

Absolutely. Mind you I'm just thinking that its probably also a place to try my Series ute (1960 tray w/ 3.9V8/ZF/LT230/LC60 axles/37 Maxxis Crawlers) I't doesn't matter as much if that one breaks, bends or falls over. Just gotta finish it one day. Here I am sketching a trailer for it!

Grab Travs Dunga Mk.1 as a basher rather than the D2... cheaper to repair when you break bits :D

what a good fun day wheelin! Lucky we left earlier (not as early as originally intended) as it was a damn hot day, would have sucked to be stuck out in that place at midday!
If your ever stuck on a simple section spinning all four tyres waiting for them to heat up, just get Pete to lend a helpin hand, or should I say push ;):D
p.s. didn't have to use my locker switches once all day!
