Land Rover Does It Again

Land Rover has cleaned up in the awards again.

The Australian motoring organizations (RACV NMRA RACQ etc.) have awarded the D4 best in the category of "All Terrain 4WD" beating Land cruiser, Pajero, Prado(not hard to beat) and pathfinder.:TakeABow:

And this would have to be a LR first, It beat the others on ergonomics!:TakeABow:
It also won on "Clearances and articulation" and equaled Land cruiser on "Engine gearing/traction" with a rating of 10 out of 10.

How good are these!

People always claim to have heard bad things about land Rovers and they are invariably Toyota owners who are just rehashing preconceived bull...

Im sure the D4 won;t be anyless reliable over time than would a new Patrol or Cruiser. They ALL have their own unque problems from time to time.
If I had the cash I'd buy a D4 don;t you wory about that !

I liked how someone was hinting LR bought the most advertising hence got the award. Like LR are going to beat Toyota at advertising. I think I read here that the entire LR marketing budget was less than the Toyota Kluger alone.

There are some issues with the D4 3.0; software mostly (too much nanny) Early builds of any vehicle will have teathing problems. That is why I waited till second build before i got a D3.

I signed up and searched from the post. Nice to see how the argument is based on pure fact and has no bias in it at all....... Who cares what they say. We may not have dealers and this and that but at the end of the day a landy owner has got 1 thing the jap crap owners will never have. Thousands of like minded individuals who are more than happy to help should another landy owner be in trouble.
