There, now that I have your attention it is time to start posting pics of your D3's and show us some of the mods that you have done to them.

Perhaps the best looking D3 will become someones centrefold or desktop wallpaper.

Wish I could start with a pic of mine but I'm still looking for one to buy and all I can show you at the moment is a highly modded 4.6 D1.

My preference will be a tdv6 hse (second hand) but a v8 may get a look in depending on how they drive and tow.

If, and it is a very big if... but if I was seriously loaded $$$$$$ and there were no starving children dying of preventable diseases I would chop a D3 with only the front seats and make it into a ute! So nice pic's!

You'll have to make your own photo then, I've finished teaching someone how to use an image editor which is why we made those D3 variants. Always better to have an objective when teaching these sorts of things.

Well done. Sometimes I sure could use the stretched one for longer term luxury bush camping. With my drawers and 80 litre WAECO along with it's two Ultimate UL-110 AGM Batteries at nearly 33kg each, First Aid kit big enough for a bus accident, tools, spares, water, plenty of fishing /diving gear , full recovery gear, tarps, electronics/laptop etc., chairs, clothes, beer/wine and bedding in there, maybe just the two front doors and the extra space for even more of "the basics".

Here is my TDV6 SE in super extended mode after being stuck during a mud/water training day in the Adelaide Hills. A winch recovery was required so it was all good training.

That is a great looking D3.

What type of Roof rack is that?

The roof rack is a Rola Vortex, fits nicely on the Rola bars.
