i am looking at setting up the d2 for an extended tour and over the xmas break i have decided to look into storage set ups. with two givens an engal fridge [inc two zone] and a cargo barrier would i be best with a side by side drawer option or a stacker? i also plan on removing the rear seats to install a unit there as well. to be sufficient for a six week trek have others done ? i am just looking for ideas that i have probably not thought of or seen in other cars as of yet. thanks

Depends on how tall you are and if your vehicle's had a lift. If both, then stacked draws. Its a pain having to stand on a box to get into your fridge. However, given the usual slope in a cargo barrier, the top draw will be shorter than the bottom draw so you'll get more in side by side draws and there's less wasted space behind fridge.
My wife and I have been away to top end for 6 weeks and, recently, central Australia for 5 weeks. I don't remove rear seats, don't tow a trailer and fit every thing in. Use a roof rack for extra spare wheel and fuel.
