Looks awesome :) Did you put the rubber stip just along the top or all the way around the flares?

Right around the whole Flare except for the bit at the bottom front and back that curls back inside its self:cool:

Good job mate. They look great. I can see a battery drill in one of the photos, did you need a grinder to trim?

Has anyone hung their flatdog flares on a disco 5-door yet? I'm interrested in knowing what was the go and how long it took?

I remember hearing once about cuting LR aluminium with a certain type of cutting wheel and impregnating the panel with grit that will cause rust.

Love some pics of a disco with these new flares...Somebody?

Yes the drill was for fitting only , no trimming of the guards needed at all:cool:

They look the goods. We lost one of our OE flares the other day. How embarassment......it was on the bitumen too:(.

They would suit my 120 as the 35's on -25 X 8" rub real bad:( Looks much better than spacing the old flares out.:)

Can you do me a favour and messure how far they actually stick out, they look almost identical to my flares but might be just a tad wider,, which is what i need.

Where are you located.

I assume they are just standard black LR flexi flares sprayed with shiny red paint ? If so how easy to you reckon it would be to take them back to "normal" ie teh blac that most Defenders wear) if at all possible.
