This is an EVA Air 747 taking off from Amsterdam and is one of those shots taken when you just happen to be at the right place and the right time.

It's loud enough near Melbourne Airport when riding a motorsickle past at the same time one lands or takes off, but the gap between it and the ground is WAY more than that. That place would be something else!
