With the A bar (the soft bar) on the D3, there was a winch one and a non-winch one. The only diferrence was that the winch one had a space for the winch to stick through.

The LR winch (a warn xp9.5) came with a tray as part of the package. The A bar itself had no mounting facility and was not strong enough anyway.

If you want a truly hidden winch go to www.disco3.co.uk (http://www.disco3.co.uk) and pm RLD. He makes them for the D3 and probably will for the D4.

I think that Jamo is right, but the freight charge may be prohibitive. :(

I know that ARB have decided that their bar won't translate from the D3.

I suspect that you may be in for a wait before D4 "stuff" becomes available.

Best Wishes,
Peter

I think that Jamo is right,

Jamo knows he's right! I optioned a winch compatible A bar onto my D3 when I ordered it.

Jamo knows he's right! SNIP.

Aren't pepper owners touchy! :D

I was referring to the "RLD" part.

Thanks guys, have been on to RLD, (uncle Bob), his kit for hidden winch is great set up, though does seem to be a bit of a drama to fit, but IMHO I think it will be worth it . Just getting frieght costs. However it seems like Tobor 9 winch fits best, anyone got any ideas on them, I think ARB sell them
Cheers Ken
