I ALWAYS watch the start each year and love it.
The majesty of something powered only by the wind going THAT fast is incredible.

Too bad they can't telecast the whole thing !

I had heard one yacht has webcams aboard but can't find which one it is or any links.
Anyone happen to know?

I used to a little ocean racing just bass straight crossings. Was all lined up to do the sydney to hobart but the boat lost the sponsorship for the race.

Had a sail on wild thing a few years ago.
big boats those super maxis.


I think if you log into the offical web site i think you can view the web cams or i think if you look at the volvo ocean racing a couple of those boats have web cams

Yes, love the Sydney to Hobart race. I have a friend who is a professional photographer who covers all sailing events, as well as this one. Will see if I can get some pics from him & post them :)
