Out & about in rain today (been a long time!). Parked the 2003 D2 and locked it with remote. On return, remote not working, central locking button in car not working, indicators not working, and constant flashing symbol (a "B" with a line through it) in display that normally shows what gear the auto is in. Checked all fuses & links etc, all OK. Is there water somewhere it shouldn't be??

Possible lower windscreen leak and its soaked the BCU (body control unit) which is located behind the glove box.

Can't remember exactly but i'm sure i had a similar fault. You could just search for the thread in this forum under the title 'electrical fault' i think.
From memory I would first check all your indicator and park light bulbs. If one is blown, then this would cause the complete non-operation of your alarm and locking, and it did produce this odd flashing B in the dash.

Found it, sounds exactly like yours, note the TWO park light bulbs at each front corner.
